Hey, I'm Megan!
I'm an adventure photographer and mountain guide who strives to tell stories through images. My goal is to help soften the outdoor industry through inclusivity and diversity.  As a female-bodied person in the outdoor industry, I share the experience of those who feel misrepresented in my community, with an emphasis on women and marginalized groups.
My experience as a guide allows me to venture to places others might have trouble accessing, which allows me to capture images from a different perspective.
I tell stories through authentic photos of folks doing what they love in the outdoors, whether it be trying hard on a rock face, skiing fluffy snow slopes, and the moments in between.
Let's work together to tell your story! I specialize in adventure action shots, so let's capture your most authentic self doing what you love. I am also available for outdoor events, capturing guided tours of climbing, skiing, and summiting mountains. I can shoot both commercial and editorial photos for your business to help convey who you are as a brand. I am also available to assist as a second shooter in difficult terrain where ropes and technical gear are required.
I'm based in the PNW, but I am available for travel worldwide.

When I was young, I was obsessed with all things fantasy inspired by the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Nintendo video games. I would draw made-up worlds and characters and be totally immersed in them.
I still carry that whimsy around with me. These days, I'm inspired by my community and all the outdoor spaces I have had the privilege to venture into.

If I'm not hanging from a fixed line shooting, you can find me in the North Cascades climbing and skiing. I'm also a plant nerd and I love gardening and wildcrafting. I also draw and I have been teaching myself how to knit and crochet.
